Bespoke Exhibition Stands for Intelligent Building Systems (IBS) 2026, Paris

Intelligent Building Systems, or IBS, is a leading French trade show for smart building technology, held every October at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Around 200 exhibitors present building management systems, IoT sensors, and digital platforms for energy efficiency and automation, to a compact but decision-heavy audience of building owners, facility managers, integrators, and architects. EventFull designs and builds bespoke exhibition stands for businesses exhibiting at the show.

Hardware and Software Need to Work Together on Your Stand

A lot of exhibitors here are showing both physical sensors or devices and the software platforms that make sense of the data they collect. These need to be presented as a connected system rather than two separate displays. Giving equal, well-integrated space to both the hardware and the screen showing what it actually does helps visitors understand the full picture, rather than seeing a small device with no context for what it achieves.

A Compact, Focused Two-Day Show

With the event running for just two days and a relatively focused, professional audience, there's less pressure to shout for attention and more value in having a proper conversation with the right people. A stand that supports a seated, detailed discussion, going through data, discussing a specific building's needs, tends to serve this audience better than one built purely around grabbing a passing glance.
